During two long stays in Los Angeles, I participated in the establishment and operation of an urban community, which operated in a variety of areas: operating a donation-based vegan cafe in Hollywood, which employs street children and rehabilitates gang youth; gang youth rehabilitation initiatives through singing and mentoring; art and culture for the issue; and more.
The community and initiatives operate in light of principles of social trinity, circularity and gift economy, deep ecology, and more.
During the stays, many insights were added to my toolbox in a variety of areas.
