YIP Sweden

During the program, about 30 young people from all over the world live together in a shared house and train in many fields: alternative economics and politics, biodynamic farming, community building, art, biographical counseling, organizational consulting and more.

I'm not one of the program's founders but a participant; but the nature of the program is that every participant is also an active partner in doing and in organizing projects during the studies.

As part of the program, I went on a month-and-a-half internship in the Philippines, with humanitarian and civil-society organizations. At the same time, we organized various projects in and around Stockholm (for example, food distribution for people in need).

I also helped organize an international conference of young people from all over the world committed to inner work and positive change in the world. For one of the sessions at the conference I produced a video filmed in 35 countries simultaneously, during a single hour – to show that we are all connected.

Thanks to the program, I formed deep connections with young people all over the world, and had the chance to start social and ecological projects together in the US, Europe and Asia.
